To those who don't agree

Ive been getting mail from some of you that indicate that a couple of things to me.

A) You cant understand that other people have differing opinions to your own
B) You cant agree to disagree
C) You cant understand that though you might have a point, and you're entitled, it doenst make you anymore an expert than someone who's arguing the other side.

Right-winged, Left-winged, winged and club footed, you people can express your opinions as you see fit, as do I. Failure for anyone to take your point as gospel, doesnt mean you wont go to heaven and doesnt mean anyone will change thier opinion. Free marketplace of ideas, good ideas flourish, bad ideas fall by the wayside, thats how it works. So if you have a good idea, tell someone who will effect change, if its a bad idea, tell someone who is like minded.

One person pretty much is ready to sell his soul to the Conservatives, when asked why I got the following "Because I vote Alphabetically"; thats right folks...... another person who deeserves to be sterilized.

Accountability

I realize that these fools are trying to get elected are trying to further thier cause by promising us the world, what troubles me is whoever does, will not have the cash. Also that they tend to dumb it all down for us too...

And I get that this is a fundemental part of the equation. Promise the world, get elected, fail to deliver, promise more, get elected...vicious cycle. Why doesnt someone step up and describe how they believe that they'll raise the cash? Last time I looked, it was still possible to get details on the state of the economy by looking at the books, transparency; I think they call it around budget time... (laugh)

Given that only one party really has a fix on the books (no pun intended)
I would think that one has a better feel for how to make them work. Again what troubles me is that I think Harper is setting up Martin and he doesnt know it.
Harper announces he'll give into a Daycare program and promises Billions; Martin steps up and chirides Harper for not being there when they last voted on Daycare, but promises even more than Harper... I think what Im seeing is one-up-manship.

Given that there has to be a break point, there has to be a end to the gravy train given that there is a finite number of bucks coming in and a portion of the calculated surplus collected from GST and whatnot is fixed to go to citizens and debt reduction, where will this cash come from? I mean I know we're going to fuck the next generation right out a pension and natural resources but right now they're not telling us that... And why dont they think we can handle the truth - which could be that they cant or dont want us to? Is the Truth out there - and if it is, why is nobody else thinking that we cant just find it ourselves?

Know what, we should import some hooligans from England and riot like the French....

Blue Jays sign AJ and its bad news all over again.

Continuing from Politics to Sport, The Toronto Blue Jays today signed AJ Burnett from Florida. I had to get my two cents in....

Im not huge on Baseball, well I was once, and Im sure I could be again, after the Jays won the Division way back when and then culminated all that effort into a couple World Series Titles (and some fab memories...), its all been downhill... Ive seen a lockout and a few terrible seasons and thats contributed to my displeasure. On top of that beer at the SkyDome is outrageously priced and for such a crappy team on the field, you'd think they'd at least make the beer cheap enough to enjoy the fact that we have a major league team despite they suck goats balls.. The games I have been to; I was succumbed and only subdued by the fact that trying to down a beer for every half inning adds up pretty quickly in both drunkedness and cost.... (Note: I did see that bastard, Ace, or Diamond and he/she didnt like my asking where BJ Birdy was... )

They changed ownership, Rogers bought the team and the building for a steal of a deal (the Dome cost over 500million to build on the back of taxpayers&residents , they sold it for 25 Million) then decided to change the name of the Dome to The Rogers Center and they booted the beloved BJ Birdy mascot, brought in two spastic new mascots with A.D.D. ...and changed the name of the team from The Toronto Blue Jays to simply The Jays and removed all and any Canadian symbols from our logo... Well fuck you Mr Rogers (not the PBS guy, him I liked, though I think he was a bit pedo) . Next time I see your macsots Ace & Diamond, I will open a bigger can of whoop ass; and when folk ask me where the Rogers Center is, I'll tell em its in Hamilton 20 minutes down the highway and free parking if you show them your tickets... .

Problem with Canadian pro sports franchises is we're dumb; well let me rephrase that we're really dumb and stupid. Canadians know nothing about sports outside of Hockey, or the attitude required to excel at such endevours. I mean in Hockey we kick ass, hands down barr none,
but Baseball, other than that spat where the Jays won, we've done nothing, Montreal folded its franchise, I think they might still be paying for the stadium. In Vancouver they ran that NBA franchise out of town, in Toronto our NBA franchise has had more 1st round draft picks leave than stay and we still suck. (Ill get to them in another post cuz they're messed in so many ways.)
Problem is we're too nice as a people and dont know what to make of these American selfish bastards we sign... but we'll go to the game to watch for only so long before we start gravitating to another seasonal sport.

Basic premise is always the same, that they sign one or two big guys for retardedly huge money and think that they've won the championship, and it happens every time... NBA Vancouver it was Rahim and Big Country, Raptors it was Hakeem, Mourning, Carter, Stoudamire, Oakley. MLB Montreal they had Carter, Moises and his kid, and a few more.... I could go on but my twitch is coming back...

Now the Jays are spending 55 Million dollars on a guy who works ONCE every seven days and might bring them 20 wins if he's lucky... he's second fiddle to Carpenter who's scratching his head wondering where his 55 Million dollar contract is and he's the best guy they have...and they;'re running around like they've won a birth to the championship again.... retards.... I bet the guys over at the Jays HQ they have wierd feet....

Christmas Cancelled in Ottawa

VERY SAD NEWS.....

There will be no Nativity Scene in Ottawa this year! The Supreme Court has
ruled that there cannot be a Nativity Scene in Canada's capital this
Christmas season. This isn't for any religious reason, they simply have not
been able to find three wise men and a virgin in the Nation's capitol.
There was no problem, however, finding enough asses to fill the stable.

Something less Political

Someone asked me to drop something in here less political than whats been delivered the past while...So I looked through my harddrive and found this image that I found earlier on College HumOUr (Americans....)

Nowif your looking at what Im looking at, you should be thinking, hey dems some fucked up feet....I did a little searching and found it is not uncommon in the continetal United Sates and Canada to have people with fucked up feet.

I know when your signifigant or not so signifigant other is pregnant, they often scan via ultrasound to look for such anaomolies as flipper kids, which is when and where the fingers and toes dont seperate , hence the flipper babies...

Now what troubles me is that it looks like these two are facing eachother which means they're probably warming up the camera for what would be some 'sexy toes sucking time' photo ops... Thats nice and all, I'm all for a bit of porn, well im all for alot of porn but seriously, its nice and all that in this mixed up world that two freaks of nature would seek eachother out and couple up... but looking at dem feet tells me these people shouldnt be breeding but rather be sterilized. I might suggest we have the dentist point the xray machine at the nutz and shoot repeatedly until all the swimming has stopped.

It could so be that they're actually related; and well, in good banjo twangin' fashion they're about to do some cousin-lovin...which is probably the way that they came to get dem feet in the first place.

Liberals: Basically did fuck all for us in the last 18months. Helped the gays out (which wasnt terrible but wasted way too much time),crooks & coverups and basically covering thier asses. NDP: Punching way above thier weight in alliance /w Liberals. No experience governing. Not going to get a chance after what Rae did in Ontario. Layton might be the only honest guy in Ottawa; cant speak french well enough Whiny; wish they werent so pro-labour; otherwise Id give them my vote... Would vote NDP if I hear Olivia Chow say " Vote NDP...Me, Love you long time" Supports decriminalizing Marijuana.

Conservatives: Too crazy for me; Still have agressive rednecks and religious right wingers in their midst. Canadian-Republican-ism is ugly thought Stephen Harper looks like a chubby beaver, well, he's gotten better but a Western Canadian who barely speaks french doesnt have a hope in hell of ruling Canada. No plan as of yet; Do not present a clear vision for governing. Its been a long time since the Conservatives had a run at ruling; Mulroney still evokes a bad taste. Too concerned with the gay-marriage thing. Get over it... Cutting the GST is a fab idea; too bad they're still crazy. I would support this party under new leadership, say under Peter McKay. (I wish he would leak video of he and Belinda doin the nasty and finishing on her chin...oh to dream)

Bloc :Gilles Duceppe, a slick looking jarred toothed James Bond wanna be... If only they'd shed thier treasonistic tenedencies and work with the group. In a wierd way they're like (French) Reformists...Too crazy to govern, too dumb to read the writing on the wall and too smart to go away. Why is it that they spend so much of thier time trying to get a foothold to split up the country and not work to preserve it? Im well versed in Politics & French history , I mean if we'd lost ( see Wolf vs Montcalm in your Canadian History books) on the Plains of Abraham we'd all be speaking french and thats no lie... But to fastforward almost 200 years and we still have these dissadent seperatists trying to make a name for themselves. I can only hope that they shoot themselves in the foot or are found having an young-boy-gay-orgy in the campaign hotel sometime that will make voters choose something else rather than the Bloc.

Green: Dont know enough about; another alternative on the main stage would be nice.

I think the Libs need new leadership and if a minority will prompt a new leader and subsequently a new election, then Im all for em...

(My vote; really it will go to the party who can actually deciminalize marijuana; bonus if they have a platform to legalize it, tax it and sell it as they do Liquor..... really now, it would propel our economy into the stratusphere... and to assist in that endevour; all the grow-op stings, these individuals would have to in turn as punishment assist in the government production of the sweet bud becasue from what Ive heard, they dont make great pot... )

Today I read in the paper and online that Mr Harper, the self appointed new-saviour-andKing-of-the-Tories, has begun to lay out his policies on the social side of the equation. http://www.pulse24.com/News/Top_Story/20051205-002/page.asp

HOW would one believe that by increasing policing and penalties that one would not require to increase spending on jails? Does he miraclously believe that we can go ahead and catch these bad-(wo)men and not have to increase spending to house them? Maybe he should take a trip to the Don Jail in Toronto or some (where they'll credit you time and a half for your stopping by) or the Federal prisons to get an idea of living conditions and get the skinny firsthand from the people who run and work these facilities.
I also note that we in Canada have been humming and hawing over a National Daycare strategy for the past twenty years and its an election promise that routinely gets broken or put on the backburner. Conservatives oddly have been opposed to the idea since the Mulroney era and Mr Harper now knowing that the desperate housewives and husbands would love to get some free cash to keep thier kids while they go out and sling drugs or thump the homeless for thier giggles-and-shits; has put this on his election platform. Crafty fuckers. Why not offer a promise in the package that they can break in plain sight and snag a few votes from the families that so actually need it.... Dirty Pseudo-Canadian-Republicans....Dangling tax cuts, cash, kids and crime control in front of us like they know what they're doing if they could govern....

Canada

Well I thought going into an election on Jan 23rd 2006; this would be a good thing to do to assist my need to vent on the preverbial vomitus mass both our soon-to-be elected leaders and the media spew forth.

I know im not alone in that I find it difficult to pin down proper viewpoints/opinions of our candidates, they're stupid really, resting on thier laurels and hoping thier staff is competent enough to steer them from media trouble. I guess its only safe to assume that they're telling the truth as it pertains to securing your vote, after that its a free for all. What really 'sucks ass' is that the there are really no mechanism in place to keep these buggers to some sort of accountability; while they rule is really just nothing more than rehtoric. They promise and say what they like on the campaign trail and later turn around and forget that they said it. If only there could be some way to properly open a can of whoop ass on these liars.....

Take Castro for example, He's a dictator in Cuba, he is the government. Love him or hate him, he's the HCIC (Head Cubano in Charge). What I love about the guy is his absolute resolve to whoop ass; example? Beggars on the streets bothering tourists and clogging the cities. Solution: Whoop thier ass, outlaw homelessness and pull em off the street and put em in the army. Cause and effect. Tourists are happy, homeless are housed and employed, productivity is up, win-win all around. Another? Pimps are beating up thier hoe's; Solution: Whoop thier ass, outlaw Pimps and make sure the gals are using condoms... this guys a humanitarian...

If the Canadian government could only take a page from Castro on getting things done, we'd be better off. I voted Liberal last election; but I recall one of the campaign promises would be to decriminalize Marijuana, and this was a bill that had been tabled after P.M. Chretien retired. So that Martin guy who swore up and down the coast that he'd git-r-done, has now lost his government 18 months post-election and guess what, that legislation has now died on the table. It really just went like this: ->Problem: Too many weed cases clogging up the system; Solution: Decriminalize it and tax the offence akin to a parking infraction. Ease the courts to go after major criminals; Result: Dumasses sat on thier hands preoccupied by the gay agenda to legalize gay marriage and the buggers let the closest legislation to allowing cannabis users live without fear of prosecution fall by the way-side.

Softwood Lumber? Us is taxing our imports heavily and giving the cash collected to the tune of 4 Billion to US domestic lumber producers. Martin whined and whined to the US to still no avail. Guess what, the WTO said we could lay coutervailing duties on a variety of commodities, guess what they did; get even you say? Hit them on industies where it hurts you say, Oil, Energy, Water? No sir, the awnswer to that qustion is JACK DICK ALL. The areas they did levy amounted to less than 20 million a year, so 4 Billion versus the impact of 20 million on an economy that measures itself in TRILLIONS; the White House spends more on toilet paper.... brilliant.

Mad Cow? The government did jack dick all again, the US came to thier senses that the RCALF group was predominated by smaller producers that were getting huge dollars for thier beef; opening that border would drop thier profits. But they wouldnt be able to sell thier beef to Japan unless they could prove that North American beef was under control. Where can they get thier calfs from? you guessed it. So barring the Japanese opening thier border, there was no rush. Its a FLUKE that they opened the border on Martins watch...

This is a critique of the past few months, My vote is still int he air, and it really has no bearing on what card I hold in my pocket. Thing is, I actuallly thought Id be better off by this next election. 18 months later and im madder than all hell.

My therapist says that venting is good; and suggested I try writing versus the regular outlet of tracking and hunting the homeless and delivering a satisfying-yet-senseless beating. The jury is still out on that; I'll keep you posted on that aspect.

Next time I'll update you on the parties involved. Thats gonna be a hoot.
